The service shops in the auto collision industry has an expectation on them every time they perform a service for their customers. In addition, the part prices were updated every month as shops received new CD's in mail each month. Shops would have to download the new CD onto their computer once they received it so that the prices would remain up-to-date. The problem became obvious to shops, however, when those providers began charging anywhere from $2,000 to $3,000 per year.
